Just the other day we picked up a new client that has a internet radio station with over one million listeners since 2013. He uses his laptop audio output jack to play his music on external speakers. Over time he has had to put something under his audio connector to ensure he gets sound to his speakers. He had a broken audio jack on his laptop.
We told him that it would cost $75 to replace the jack and around $15 for the part. He gave us the green light and we took his laptop to the shop. We removed the audio board and ordered a replacement on eBay. We received it in 3 business days.
We always make our purchases from companies on eBay that have more than a 1,000 likes. We know they will ship the item the same day. We always pay extra for expedited shipping. For small parts the expedited shipping will sometimes cost more than the part itself, but it is always worth it. Usually expedited shipping costs anywhere from $2.99. to $5.
Once the part came in we installed it and reassembled the laptop. We tested the audio jack and delivered the laptop back to our client in Denver Colorado. Our new client was happy and he referred his co-worker to Mountain Peaks Computer and we are working on his laptop right now.
